Before Michael Jordan ever thought about lacing up a pair from Nike let alone Air Jordan he was flying high in Converse. MJ led the 1982 North Carolina Tar Heels to the promise land in a pair of Converse Pro’s and now to commemorate that moment the brand will be dropping a couple 30th Anniversary edition models. Both of which will be in the form of the Converse Pro Leather EV; one in Hi and the other Lo, each rocking a similar Carolina Blue and White colorway. There’s no UNC branding on these shoe but common sense tells a different story. Roll through the images after the jump and if you’re wanting to grab a pair right now, you can do so from Converse.

White on white season is just around the corner as spring starts to roll in and Reebok is ready to hit us with their annual Reebok Classic “White on White” package. This year will be a little different though as they plan to include one of their most popular OG models, the Reebok Question. Besides the question and Exo-O-Fit Hi details on which other models will be included have yet to surface. The entire pack is expected to hit select Reebok retailers on March 22nd so stay tuned to SneakerBomb for updates on the white on white releases. The secret’s out now and everyone knows that Reebok is back. Tomorrow they’ll be dropping one of their OG models in a two color set that some had pinned down as an All-Star release but have now been deemed the ‘PHILA’ pack. Featuring two pairs of Reebok Answer IV’s both in Red, White and Blue (Philadelphia colorways) with the first pair going predominantly in Red and the second Blue. This pack is will drop at Foot Locker tomorrow (Friday, March 15th), the release is set to go down at 8AM EST. Being teammates and friends, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade likely share a lot of things in common, most notably though is their love for sneakers. They both have their own line (with different brands) and although LeBron prefers the higher-cut model to Wade’s lower-cut they each despise a dull colorway. Recently King James looked to one of the games most renowned customizers in Mache for ‘Ironman’ LeBron X and now friend/teammate D-Wade has commissioned the artist on two new Li-Ning Way of Wade colorways. The first of which has been deemed the ‘War Machine’ for its use of gunmetal and armored look while the second one goes by the name of ‘Gradient Peel’ for reasons that are obvious. Take a gander at both pairs below and let us know which of the two are your favorite.

Ewing Athletics dropped some updated release information concerning their next two colorways of Patrick Ewing’s 33 Hi. Both the navy and grey “Georgetown” colorway and the “Jamaica” model will release on March 30th at select retailers in the United States and on March 15th at select European spots. Each shoe pays homage to a different part of Ewing’s past, with the “Georgetown” pair representing his alma mater and the “Jamaica” colorway honoring his birthplace. The original run of four Ewing Athletics 33 Hi colorways were a huge success for the once-dormant brand, and it seems they’re looking to capitalize with more colorways of the model. The “Georgetown” 33 Hi pays homage to Ewing’s alma mater and post player factory that turned out stars such as Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, Dikembe Mutombo and Greg Monroe. The “Georgetwon” colorway once again uses rich suede for the upper in a navy and grey combination. The midsole and strap system are also mostly navy with grey accents, and the shoe as a whole takes on a clean, understated look. You can cop the “Georgetown” 33 Hi online on March 15 at online retailers like Titolo.

Reebok’s DMX technology has become relevant again with the retro of the DMX Run 10 in four different colorways, but the Reebok DMX Sky takes that technology and puts it in a completely different package. The outsole’s DMX pods look a little like the ATV 19+ setup; it remains to be seen how this “moving air” system feels under foot but well, it looks comfortable to me. This shoe certainly won’t be for everybody and it comes in two bold colorways. One is a black/yellow combination and the other is a wild pink/yellow/light blue colorway that may be pushed during the Easter season. Will you cop these when they release tomorrow?

If you ask a sneaker head what their favorite Reebok model of all-time is, you’ll probably receive mixed reviews but you can guarantee that the Question will pop up numerous times. The Reebok Question has seen a nice retro return thus far and while we’ve seen a mix of new and old colorways, one of the most highly praised OG make-ups is preparing for its return. Allen Iverson has put the brand on his back once again and the Reebok Question ‘Georgetown’ will be the next retro release from the two when it lands at select retailers on March 8th. Reebok will continue to roll out the retro’s in 2013 and next up is the Reebok DMX Run 10. Just confirmed for release on March 1^st this shoe will return in all three OG colorways which include – Black/White, White/Black/Brass and White/Black/Infinite Blue/Neon Cherry/Silver. Retail is set at $120 with only select retailers carrying each pair. Of course Reebok will also be launching their online release the same day. Li-Ning has provided several different colorways of Dwyane Wade’s signature Way of Wade shoe over the course of the season, but we still have yet to see a stateside release of any kind outside of the extremely limited Championship Ring pack. We’ll have to settle for more teaser pictures today, as Wade himself put out a couple shots of a pink-based Way of Wade colorway. The upper appears to be pink patent leather with a speckled black midsole, black tongue and eyestay and white outsole. These shoes will likely be Wade’s go-to shoe for the league-wide Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. We hope to see a larger scale Way of Wade release in the U.S. sometime this year, but would you cop if this pink colorway were an option?
